Trees of the variety are vigorous, self-fertile, and distinguished by high yields. The fruit matures late in the season, one week after the 'Flamekist' variety, and is intended for the fresh market.
The nectarine has yellow flesh that adheres tightly to the pit. The variety shows high susceptibility to leaf curl caused by the fungus Taphrina deformans.
