The Giant Pearl tree has moderate vigor and high productivity. The plant has relatively high requirements for the sum of active temperatures necessary for full fruit ripening.

The fruits are white-fleshed nectarines, lacking pubescence. The breeding of the variety was aimed at creating produce with improved transportability indicators. In a number of cases, Giant Pearl is considered a synonym for the Giant Ice variety.
