The variety is mid-season and was developed as an alternative to the Loring variety. It originates from the Texas A&M University breeding program and has a genetic relationship with the Halehaven variety.
The chill requirement is 750 hours. The variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of Texas, however, the fruits may be prone to skin cracking under certain growing conditions.
It is recommended to take into account the susceptibility of the variety to stone fruit diseases when choosing a planting site.
