The peach variety «Оксамитовий» (Oksamytovyi) is the result of breeding work at the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. Researchers L.N. Chuprina and I.M. Shaitan participated in the breeding of this variety.
The plant possesses increased winter hardiness. Productivity of plantings is estimated within the range of 30–50 kg per tree. The variety is intended for cultivation in the climatic conditions of Ukraine.
