The variety belongs to the low-chill category; it requires from 150 to 300 hours of winter chilling for successful fruiting. Depending on the rootstock and training method, the tree height reaches 2–5 meters; there are also dwarf forms for small gardens and containers.
The fruits have an oval shape, yellow flesh, and smooth skin with a red blush. The stone is semi-freestone; the taste is characterized as sweet and juicy. The fruit size is small to medium; thinning is required in case of excessive fruit set to increase market quality.
The variety is adapted for subtropical and warm temperate zones. When grown on certain rootstocks, it may show sensitivity to nematodes in sandy soils and requires regular pruning and crown training.
