The variety is intended for regions with a chill hour requirement of 650–750 hours. The tree has a semi-spreading crown, blooms with decorative pink flowers, and is noted for regular bearing.
The fruits are predominantly round in shape with a yellow ground color of the skin and a red blush. The flesh is yellow and firm; the pit separates easily from the flesh. The ripening period is mid-season; the fruits ripen approximately 3 days after the Redhaven variety.
