The Sunectwentyone variety, known under the trade name Super Star, is an early-maturing nectarine variety. The fruit has an average diameter of about 66 mm, bright red coloration, and bright yellow, moderately juicy and firm flesh with a sweet-and-sour taste and a sugar content of about 12 Brix.
The plant has a relatively low chill requirement of about 250 hours at 7.2 °C or below. The variety is distinguished by high yield and low susceptibility to pit splitting, fruit russeting, and thrips damage.
