The variety is early-ripening and one of the first nectarines to mature in northern Florida. The tree is characterized by a high level of flower bud formation, and the fruits themselves have a round shape and bright coloring.
The variety is characterized by low chilling requirements. Resistance to bacterial spot is comparable to other similar varieties; however, studies have recorded cases of tree death during sharp drops in temperature. In current breeder publications, this variety is classified as obsolete.
