The variety belongs to the yellow-fleshed nectarine category and is the first commercially available freestone nectarine, where the pit separates easily from the flesh. The fruits are medium-sized, and the skin is covered with an intense red blush over 90–100% of its surface.
The plant has high growth vigor, a semi-upright crown type, and a high capacity for flower bud formation. The variety has a low chilling hour requirement of approximately 450 hours, which makes it suitable for subtropical climates.
