Trees of the Tundzha 1 and Tundzha 2 varieties are distinguished by moderate growth. The crown is moderately foliated with mixed shoots, internodes are short, and flower buds are most often grouped by two per node.
Flowers are bell-shaped, about 26.9 mm in diameter, with dark pink petals. The varieties are self-fertile and begin to bear fruit early after planting.
