Red Haven
ActivePrunus persica (L.) Batsch · Peach
Stat Exp South Haven (US)
10 August 2026
The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 3–4 meters, and is suitable for container cultivation. Flowering is early, with pink-hued blossoms. The variety requires 175–200 hours of winter chilling at temperatures below 7.2°C, making it suitable for subtropical climates.
The fruits are round in shape, medium to large in size, and have thin skin with slight pubescence and a reddish blush. The white flesh has high sweetness and aroma, and the stone is freestone. The firm structure of the flesh and delayed browning upon cutting allow the fruits to be used for minimal industrial processing.
