The variety was developed for regions with mild winters and requires approximately 175 chilling hours for normal fruit bearing. The tree has high growth vigor and a spreading crown. The period from flowering to harvest is 90–100 days; fruits ripen in May–June.
The fruits have a yellow or cream-yellow ground color with a red blush. The flesh is sweet, juicy, with a melting texture; the color may vary from yellow to cream-white depending on growing conditions. The pit is predominantly freestone.
