Fruits of the Troy variety ripen in late June. The flesh is yellow-orange in color, and the skin is covered with a red blush occupying 60 to 70% of the surface. The pit separates easily from the flesh. The variety possesses a pronounced aroma; however, the fruits are characterized by low firmness and become soft quickly after harvest.
The parental forms of the variety include the Raritan Rose variety. Given the poor transportability, this variety is recommended for sale in local markets or for pick-your-own harvesting systems. In regional recommendations, the variety is characterized as satisfactory for cultivation.
