The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of about 3.5 m, possesses a spreading or compact crown, and enters fruiting quickly. Fruits are round or slightly oval in shape, weigh from 70 to 130 g, and are covered with firm shiny skin of bright red or dark red color with a waxy bloom.

The fruit flesh is juicy and firm, sweet in taste, and the pit separates well. Fruits remain on the tree for a long time and do not drop upon ripening. The variety is resistant to major stone fruit diseases and is self-incompatible, requiring the presence of pollinator varieties.
