ActivePrunus L. · Plum

10 August 2026
The tree is vigorous, reaches a height of 4.6 m, and has a dense, rounded crown. The shoots are thin, prone to branching, with crimson-green bark. The leaves are large, broad-lanceolate, slightly wrinkled, green in color, and slightly glossy.
The rootstock is intended for intensive orchards with a planting density of 600–1000 trees per hectare. It does not produce suckers and can be used as a stem-former due to its resistance to cytosporosis. The rootstock is highly compatible with most varieties of plum, cherry plum, peach, almond, and apricot.
It is characterized by high resistance to chlorosis, crown gall, nematodes, as well as to dense, calcareous, and waterlogged soils. Drought tolerance is high, comparable to that of almond. The root system withstands temperature drops down to –8…–10 °С.
