Variety description

The rootstock forms vigorous trees with a shallow root system. It tolerates heavy, waterlogged soils, temporary waterlogging and low temperatures well. It possesses high resistance to Phytophthora, Verticillium wilt and nematodes.

Sensitivity to bacterial canker, crown gall and Plum pox virus (sharka) is noted. The rootstock has good compatibility with most plum and apricot varieties, however, it may show incompatibility with some peach, nectarine and almond varieties.
