The rootstock is a selection from Mahaleb cherry seedlings. Mother trees are characterized by good yield, possess robust health, and produce fruit with a size exceeding that of common wild Mahaleb cherry.

This rootstock is suitable for cultivation on light and dry soils, while being capable of tolerating conditions of heavy soils with a high water table.
