Variety description

10 August 2026

The rootstock was developed at the University of Pisa. It has a growth-restricting effect on the scion, promoting the formation of more compact plants compared to vigorous seedling rootstocks.

The plant possesses good adaptability to various soils, including heavy, clay, and waterlogged soils, showing resistance to water stagnation. The rootstock ensures early entry of trees into fruiting and stable yields.

The use of the rootstock influences ripening times, accelerating them, and also affects fruit quality by improving their coloration and firmness. Good compatibility of the rootstock with various plum and peach varieties is noted.
