Myruni is a clonal rootstock of the Prunus cerasifera species. In terms of growth vigor, trees on this rootstock are comparable to or exceed standard types, therefore it is not classified as dwarf.
The rootstock is suitable for organic production, tolerates drought well, and is suitable for soils with a high pH level. Resistance to waterlogging is assessed as medium or good; the rootstock has low susceptibility to plum pox virus and produces little root suckering. The onset of fruiting may be late.
