The rootstock is a seedling, in its characteristics close to the species Prunus persica. It provides good compatibility with various stone fruit crops, promotes vigorous growth of grafted trees, their high productivity, and the production of good-sized fruit. In a free-standing state, the tree can reach a height of 4.5–7.5 meters.
The plant possesses high resistance to root-knot nematodes and partial resistance to lesion nematodes. At the same time, the rootstock is susceptible to bacterial canker, verticillium wilt, ring nematodes, and fungal root diseases, including Armillaria root rot. It shows the best results on well-drained sandy loam soils.
The rootstock tolerates soil waterlogging poorly. It is not suitable for use in areas with high lime content, as plants often develop chlorosis under such conditions.
