10 August 2026
The variety was obtained within a breeding program using genetic material of Pyrus serotina. The plant genealogy is a complex hybrid: [(Roşior pietros x Decana de iarnă) x Decana de iarnă] x Beurre Hardy.
The tree is characterized by low or medium vigor. The fruit ripening period occurs in the first ten days of September, with a consumption period in October. Fruits are medium or above-medium in size and have a conical shape. The variety shows good affinity with quince rootstock.
The plant is noted for its resistance to the main diseases and pests of the crop. Due to its characteristics, the variety is used in breeding programs as a parent form for creating new varieties.
