CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree of the variety has medium vigor and an upright crown type. The variety enters bearing early. High productivity requires fruit thinning to achieve marketable size. When using quince as a rootstock, the use of an intermediate interstock is recommended.
The fruits are medium to large in size, having yellow-green skin with a red blush on 30–50% of the surface. The flesh is characterized by juiciness, a sweet taste, and a fine-grained texture. The variety surpasses the parent form in resistance to diseases and pests, as well as in shelf life and resistance to damage during transport.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
