The tree is noted for high vigor and good compatibility with quince rootstock. The variety is characterized by high and stable yield with an average onset of fruit bearing. Susceptibility to scab is noted.
The medium-sized fruits have an elongated pear shape, bright yellow skin without russeting, and a light pink blush on the sunny side. The flesh is white, juicy, of fine-grained texture, and resistant to rapid softening and spoilage.
The variety is widely cultivated in the central and southern regions of Italy and is considered suitable for growing in southern zones.
