The tree has increased vigor and an upright habit, demonstrating good compatibility with quince rootstock. Productivity level is high, although in the northern regions of Italy, it may show instability. The variety is characterized by susceptibility to scab.
Fruits have an elongated pear shape and are medium to small in size. The skin is smooth, deep yellow, sometimes with a light blush on the sunny side, without russeting. The flesh is creamy white, juicy, with a distinct aroma and excellent taste qualities.
The variety is intended for cultivation in southern climatic conditions. Fruits are characterized by high keeping quality and are suitable both for fresh consumption and for the production of distillates.
