The variety is a hybrid of Laxton's Superb and Doyenné du Comice. Fruits ripen in mid-to-late September and reach a weight of 180–250 g; in terms of taste, they are comparable to the Conference variety.
The tree is characterized by compact growth, which can be moderate when using specific rootstocks, for example, Quince MC. The variety shows resistance to scab.
