The variety «Babtų žara» is an improved version of the local population «Žara». Root crops are characterized by a smooth surface, their average weight is 10–15 g. The flesh has a delicate taste, is not bitter.
The variety is resistant to low temperatures. Intended for cultivation in open field and greenhouses, recommended for cultivation in the spring and autumn periods.
