The plant is one of the largest varieties, reaching a height of 80–120 cm. Harvesting begins in May, with one mature plant capable of producing up to 5 kg of petioles per season.
Petioles are thick, juicy, without coarse fibers, and have a bright red or red-green color. The taste is characterized as slightly tart. The variety is winter hardy, undemanding, and noted for its longevity.
The rhubarb is versatile in use: suitable for preparing desserts, pie fillings, and compotes, and is also suitable for forcing. Due to its large size and foliage decorativeness, it is often used in landscape design.
