Plants of the variety are large, with an erect or slightly upright habit. Petioles have an average length of about 40 cm, intense red skin, and greenish flesh. In old leaves, the upper part of the petiole acquires a greenish hue with red speckles.

The variety is resistant to diseases and is characterized by rapid spring growth. Produce is suitable for open field cultivation and forcing, used in culinary applications and the processing industry. The variety is characterized by a high vitamin C content.

The variety is widely used in scientific research dedicated to plant propagation methods, including the comparison of traditional rhizome division and in vitro micropropagation to obtain virus-free planting material.
