The variety has a spreading habit with a tendency for shoot lodging; the bark is dark brown in color. The leaves are large, five-lobed, green with a grayish tint, pointed, with broad teeth along the edges.

The racemes reach a length of about 6 cm and usually bear from 6 to 10 flowers. The berries are black, slightly flattened in shape, and reach about 1 cm in diameter. The variety was distinguished by its productivity and was in demand for processing for the production of jams, jellies, and winemaking.
