The bush has an upright, dense, and slightly spreading form, reaching a height of 1 to 1.5 meters. The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group; berries ripen in late June — early July.
The berries are black, small or medium in size, and possess a sweet-and-sour taste and aroma. They are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for processing into juices, jelly, marmalade, and wine.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -30°C. The variety is characterized by low susceptibility to the currant bud mite, while resistance to powdery mildew and rust is evaluated as moderate or low depending on growing conditions.
The variety has a universal purpose; it is used in home gardening, for creating protective plantings and hedges, and it also attracts birds and is a honey plant.
