The variety forms vigorous, rather wide bushes of semi-upright type. The berries are large, weighing about 1.3 g, with black color and a teardrop shape. The variety possesses good winter hardiness.
The plant is resistant to American gooseberry mildew and shows medium resistance to leaf spots. At the same time, the variety is susceptible to blackcurrant reversion virus and currant bud mite.
