The bush has a medium height, belongs to the group of mid-season varieties. Berries are of medium size. The variety was historically created for industrial processing, including the production of juices and baby food.

The plant possesses a certain resistance to powdery mildew, however, by modern standards, it is inferior to the newest hybrids. The variety is often used in botanical research as a reference for evaluating leaf characteristics and other morphological traits.
