The Merezhka variety bush is vigorous, medium height, semi-erect, with sturdy shoots that do not lodge under the weight of the crop. Leaves are leathery, dark green, which provides increased resistance of the plant to sunburn and drought.
Berries are large, weighing from 1.9 to 3.0 g, black with a glossy surface. Flesh is firm and juicy, taste is sweet and sour with a pronounced aroma. Due to dry separation, the berries are less susceptible to damage during storage and transportation.
The variety possesses high natural resistance to anthracnose and powdery mildew. It is adapted to the conditions of a moderately continental climate and exhibits high tolerance to hot summer periods.
