The plant forms a vigorous, upright bush up to 1.5 meters in height. The flowers have a light red hue. The berries possess a very sweet taste with a mild-sour aroma and thin skin, which makes them suitable for fresh consumption.
In scientific publications, the variety is mentioned as a reference sample in studies of currant viral diseases, in particular, as a positive control in the diagnostics of blackcurrant reversion virus.
