The variety is characterized by high fruit flavor quality. The fruits are suitable both for fresh consumption and for various types of processing.

The variety was bred within a breeding program aimed at creating winter-hardy plants with resistance to American gooseberry mildew and blackcurrant gall mite, as well as being suitable for mechanical harvesting.
