Variety description

The shrub reaches a height of 1–2 meters and has a spreading crown. The branches are grayish in hue, thornless, and covered with numerous lenticels.

The fruits are black, glossy, and round, with dense, juicy, and tart flesh. The harvest matures in mid-summer, in the period from late June to mid-July.

The variety is partially self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinators for better fruit set. The plant prefers rich, well-drained soils and sunny sites.
