The bushes of the variety reach 1–1.8 meters in height and are prone to rapid thickening. The berries have a round shape, black color, shiny skin, and a mass of 0.8 to 2.8 g. The taste of the fruits is rated as pleasant, sweet and sour, with a characteristic blackcurrant aroma.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness (USDA zone 4) and is adapted to the northern climate. The yield is 3–6 kg per bush. The plant shows high resistance to powdery mildew and anthracnose, but may be susceptible to bud mite, rust, and reversion disease.
The berries are suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and processing. Due to the firm skin and dry detachment, the variety is characterized by good transportability.
