The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Paulinka and Belorusskaya sladkaya. The plant is characterized by mid-season maturity, occurring in the first to second ten-day period of July.

The yield of the variety is up to 3–5 kg of berries per bush. The fruits are large, weighing up to 1.0–1.2 g, contain up to 200 mg% of vitamin C, and are suitable for fresh consumption or industrial processing.

The variety is winter-hardy and self-fertile, with a fruit set rate of up to 70%. It possesses complex resistance to powdery mildew, anthracnose, and the blackcurrant gall mite.
