The variety forms a medium-sized bush, which often has a spreading, irregular shape. The plant is characterized by self-fertility, which allows it to bear fruit without cross-pollination.
The berries are of medium size, about 0.6–1 g, have a transparent skin and juicy flesh. The firm structure of the fruit ensures good transportability, and ripe berries do not drop from the bush.
The variety shows average frost resistance and is rarely affected by fungal diseases and pests. In the literature, it is important to distinguish this white currant variety from the «Голландская красная» variety, which has different maturity dates and biological characteristics.
