The bushes of the variety are above average in size, characterized by vigorous growth and a spreading, open crown shape with numerous thin young shoots. The variety belongs to the late-ripening group.
The berries are distinguished by good flavor qualities and a high content of dry matter, ascorbic acid, and anthocyanins. The variety possesses sufficiently high winter hardiness of flower buds, but exhibits susceptibility to phytoplasma infection, which causes deformation of flowers and fruits.
The variety is traditionally used both for fresh consumption and for industrial processing, in particular for the production of juices. Currently, it is more often considered a genetic resource.
