The variety has been known in Denmark since the 17th century and belongs to the group of Dutch red currant varieties. The bushes reach an average height of 1 to 2 meters. The variety is characterized by winter hardiness and sufficient resistance to common diseases of the crop.
The plant forms long clusters with large berries. Due to the pronounced acidity, the fruits of this variety are used more often for processing into juices, jams, and fruit drinks than for fresh consumption.
