The variety has synonyms Early Green, Early Green Hairy, Green Gage and Deutsche Grüne. The plant is characterized by a spreading bush shape and the ability to produce an abundant yield, for which, due to the weight of the berries, the installation of support may be required.
The berries are small, round in shape, covered with thin pubescent skin of dark green color, sometimes having yellowish veins. The variety is sensitive to powdery mildew and is currently mainly of interest to collectors and amateur gardeners.
