The plant is a hybrid of gooseberry and Ribes divaricatum currant. The vigorous shrub reaches a height of 1 to 2 meters with a width of up to 1 meter and is distinguished by the presence of a large number of thorns. The fruits, approximately 1.2 cm in diameter, have a round or oval shape and color from light red to wine-red.
The variety ripens in mid-to-late season, starting from mid-July, with a harvest period until mid-August. The yield is from 3 to 5 kg per plant. The crop is characterized by high resistance to powdery mildew. The berries have a sweet, slightly tart taste and are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
