Rokula
ActiveRibes uva-crispa L. · Gooseberry
Rolf Bauer
10 August 2026
The variety is early, with fruits ripening in mid- to late July. The berries are round or slightly elliptical in shape, pea-yellow to golden-yellow in color, with veins, dots, and pubescence on the surface. The fruit skin is thin.
The bush forms upright branches. The variety has low resistance to diseases, particularly to American gooseberry mildew (Sphaerotheca). Due to the low transportability of the fruits, the variety is no longer used in industrial production and is currently rare.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
