The plant is characterized by an upright bush habit. The berries are large, dark red, and have a sweet and sour taste. In literature, the variety is described as late-flowering, while fruit ripening occurs at an early time.

The flower buds of the variety can be sensitive to winter frosts. The plant's branches are fragile, therefore for young bushes in windy locations, the installation of supports is required to prevent damage to the shoots.
