The name Turbo 4 refers to a group of fast-growing breeding forms of Robinia pseudoacacia. This group includes cloned Turbo Obelisk varieties obtained through vegetative propagation, and Turbo seedlings grown from seeds collected in specialized seed orchards.

Trees of this group are distinguished by a straight trunk shape and a high growth rate, which is twice that of common Robinia species. The plants possess increased resistance to drought, pollution, diseases, pests, and are capable of growing on poor soils.

The purpose of the group includes the industrial cultivation of commercial timber, the creation of protective forest belts, biomass production, and use as honey plants. Cultivation technology allows for reaching maturity for industrial wood use within 15 years.
