The bush is vigorous, spreading, reaching 150–200 cm in height and 120–180 cm in width, with arching, heavily thorned stems and matte grey-green foliage. The flowers are semi-double, 6–8 cm in diameter, and are characterized by variable coloration — pure white, pink, or variegated white-pink buds may be present on the same bush.
The variety is characterized by once-blooming in early summer, high endurance, and winter hardiness. At the end of the season, it may be susceptible to powdery mildew or black spot. It is used for decorative purposes, in particular for creating hedges and in historical gardens.
