The variety belongs to late-ripening blackberries. Flowering begins in the first ten days of July, and the harvest period is extended over 6–8 weeks, occurring in August and September. The plant is vigorous, forming stiff thorny shoots that require mandatory support in the form of trellises, walls, or fences.

The medium-sized fruits are gathered in large dense clusters and possess juiciness and an intense aroma. The variety is demanding regarding growing conditions: it needs cover during severe winters and may also show sensitivity to drought periods and exposure to high temperatures.

The plant is noted for high yield. Despite general resistance to diseases, the variety is susceptible to fungal infections typical for the crop, which requires attention during maintenance.
