The plant has powerful stems reaching 2–3 meters in height. At the beginning of the season, shoots grow vertically, but gradually become semi-erect or trailing, requiring the mandatory installation of trellises. The plant has dense thorns, pigmented at the base and tips.
The variety is self-fertile and characterized by high winter hardiness, successfully tolerating cool climatic conditions. The fruiting period occurs in the interval from mid-June to August. The berries have a bright red color, which changes to purple-red upon overripening, and are distinguished by juiciness and a pronounced taste.
