The hybrid was obtained by crossing the blackberry Rubus ursinus and the raspberry variety Jewel. The plant forms prickly canes reaching a length of up to 3 meters.

The fruits have a dark color and an oval shape; in size, they are somewhat smaller than the Tayberry variety. The berries have a sweet taste and a raspberry-blackberry aroma; they detach with difficulty from the receptacle and do not shatter upon ripening, although they are prone to wilting on the bush.

The yield of the variety is estimated as medium. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and for various types of processing.
